Terms of Service

The service

Luvvy is a relationship wellbeing app that offers daily suggestions, quizzes, activities and related content to help couples strengthen their connection. We may add, change or remove features from time to time.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.

Subscriptions and payments

Parts of the service may be offered for free, while others require a paid subscription. Where you purchase a subscription, billing, renewal and cancellation are handled by the app store you purchased through, subject to its terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the service lawfully and respectfully, and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it in unauthorised ways, or use it to harm others.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the app. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to operate and provide the service to you and, where you both consent, your partner.

Intellectual property

The service, including its software, design, text and branding, is owned by Couples Lab B.V. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our brand or content except as needed to use the service.

Not medical or therapeutic advice

Luvvy provides general wellbeing and educational content. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you are experiencing distress or a crisis, please seek help from a qualified professional.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that it will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Couples Lab B.V. will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the service or its users.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and any disputes will be subject to the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
